Building Your Brand Through Social Media

Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, My Space…the list goes on and on. How does social media impact our ability to communicate with target audiences including customers, traditional media, business colleagues and friends? How can select social media tactics underscore communications efforts to help build personal business and company brands?

Presentation by MaryJane Mudd, principal, Full Tilt Communications, will aid participants in their understanding of social media and which options will help them meet their communications goals.

MaryJane is an award-winning strategist with over 25 years of marketing, media relations, crisis management and facilitation experience for global organizations such as The Dow Chemical Company, Air Liquide America Corporation, ConocoPhillips, Fulbright & Jaworski LLP, Sutherland LLP and Exterran Holdings. She serves on the boards of Leadership Houston and the Houston Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA), and is a member of the public relations committee for the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council. She has just been named president-elect for Houston’s AMA, the second largest AMA chapter in the nation, and will assume that role in July 2009.
